About "Coach"
Thank you for coming to
RUN4ALL.com and for your interest in the
Run4All Nation! I started Run4All
Coaching
in 2004 to help people become more fit, and to discover the magic of setting and achieving
their running goals.
I have been involved in a
variety of fitness oriented sports for over 20 years and have found the greatest
physical and psychological benefit from the simple act of running.
I started this long trek training in the Navy as a Search and
Rescue swimmer and learned that a disciplined and sensible approach to training
can allow even average athletes to achieve what seems impossible.
Certifications:
- RRCA certified long distance running coach
- American Sports Education Program (ASEP) Certified
- American Red Cross CPR Certified
- Advanced First Aid Certified
- Navy Reserve Search and Rescue Swimmer
I've completed races of every length from 5k to Marathons and have coached
runners of all ages, sizes, capabilities and desires, from 11 to
I know the struggles of balancing a working life with the desire to be fit
and get proper exercise. I know the challenges of setting and reaching
running goals and have dedicated my life to helping others discover the magic
that happens when a running goal is achieved.
Coaching Philosophy
I believe we are all capable of reaching our running goals if we are willing to
commit the time and energy to reaching them. Too many potential runners
are deterred from their goal by taking on too aggressive of goals, or following
too many training plans.
No goal worth achieving comes easy. The things required in order for
you to finish your first 5k, 10k, half or even full marathon are SIMPLE.
Simple but not EASY. My approach is to set realistic but challenging
goals, provide a simple path to achieve that goal and the guidance and support
needed to get you across the finish line.... My goal is
to guide my athletes to open their lives, minds and hearts to becoming more fit by
providing coaching and motivation programs to achieve
their fitness and running goals!
"KNOWING YOU CAN, BELIEVING YOU
WILL....".
